NOUR, straight from Switzerland, has always been in pursuit of musical freedom, too volatile to be confined to the song cage; she opens the door to all forms of music, even though jazz remains her starting point. This album is also the first made in France, the two previous ones, "Des P'tits Hommes" and "Au-delà de l'Arc-En-Ciel," had a nice life in Switzerland. Arriving in Paris, a resident of the Cité Des Arts, NOUR reinvents herself, flirts with the visual arts without abandoning music. The lover of Boris Vian and Nougaro reinvents herself in Paris, showcasing her vision of the world and affirming her feminine version. "Après l'orage," which NOUR experiences almost as a debut album, is ready to travel in solo piano or trio (with David Potaux Razel and Anne Gouraud) from venue to venue to bring rhythm and smiles to those who are ready to welcome them. The album breathes light, elegant boldness, and never shies away from artistic absurdity.
